American Standard 8888026.002 Bath Slip-On Diverter Tub Spout
I loved how easy it was to install this faucet. If you are looking for a faucet that doesn’t have any fancy or special feature but does the job well, this is one great product. This standard bathtub faucet arrived quickly, and installation took like 5 minutes in total.
To install this faucet, you will need an Allen wrench, which wasn’t part of the package. So if you don’t have one around, you might get one online or borrow, it’s one handy tool for home repairs. The main work I noticed was getting the old faucet off, especially if it is an older brand. You can always do a Google search of the brand name and model of the faucet as there is at least one YouTube video that would help.
After removing the older one, I used sandpaper to get the copper shiny and smooth before sliding the wall mounted bathtub faucet on. When the shower diverter is pulled, the faucet diverts the water to the showerhead, and we didn’t see water dripping from the tub.
The one issue I noticed with my installation was that this faucet is around 1 inch shorter than the old one, and we have a large tube head. Overall, I loved that the faucet doesn’t leak, doesn’t make noise, and is pretty cheap. Of all the faucets I will be talking about, the American Standard 8888026.002 Tub Spout is still my best.

Whether you’re buying this for home or RV, this faucet is one good quality choice. It was very easy to install, it fits well, and the entire process of removing the old one and installing this was pretty seamless. The Builders Shoppe 3310ACP Bathtub Faucet is wall mounted.
As soon as you turn the water off, the switch drops. The middle nozzle is offset, so I needed to modify the opening in the tube to fit this faucet. I didn’t like the middle nozzle though, as it looks too long.
It’s not your usual fancy bathtub faucet, but it does a pretty good job.
Another thing I didn’t like was that it was a tad noisier than I would have expected. But for its price, the ease of installing, the fact that it didn’t leak water and maintained good water pressure, I think this faucet is one good deal.
Delta Faucet Foundations Single-Function Tub and Shower – Wall Mount Bathtub Faucet
At under $70, this is one cheap, not-too-fancy but top quality bathtub faucet. The pressure of the water from this faucet was top-notch, and that was the first thing I loved about the faucet. The faucet also comes with protection against sudden temperature changes. It’s Monitor pressure-balanced Valve Cartridge monitors the temperature and balances the pressure of the cold water with the hot. To have hot showers, I noticed you will have to remove the scalp guard. I removed mine because I loved my hot showers, but you will have to decide if you’ll leave yours.
The installation instructions were very detailed and easy to understand. I was able to install this in a little over 10 minutes. I loved that the head pivots smoothly when adjusting the water projectile.
Going way cheaper than we would find on many three-in-one faucets, I loved that it is good quality. So if you are looking for top quality cheap bathtub faucets from top brands like Delta, this is one great option.
Delta Faucet U1075-PK Diverter Tub Spout
The installation of this faucet took me around 30 minutes in total, and everything, from valves to seals worked perfectly. I had to polish the copper before putting it on, it doesn’t leak after installation, which is a plus. One thing I noticed, and I am not sure if it’s a pro or con is the splashy nature of the water coming out of the faucet.
The Delta Faucet U1075-PK Diverter Tub Spout works well with half-inch smooth and threaded wall pipes, 3/4 inches threaded pipes and plastic pipes that have a threaded fitting on the end. I loved how detailed the instruction manual was, very concise, and easy to follow. The installation options and parts used are in the diagram, which helps a lot since customers have different types of installation requirements.
The two most important parts are made of metal, which is cool, the faucet looks like it got attention to detail. The design looks and feels robust, yet simple. The collar is solid brass and it features rubber O-rings on both the inside and outside.
Overall, I loved the quality, looks, and price of the faucet. It is made by a reputable brand, Delta. And going for somewhere in the $20 range, it surely deserves a place on this list.
